The user of this laptop was forced into a Windows 10 update and when it completed it would no longer boot into Windows. The computer would start to boot into the new Windows 10 and would hang for hours on a spinning waiting icon.
We were able to clear the update and get the laptop to boot correctly again and repair any damage done by the unwanted Windows 10 upgrade. Windows 10 works now once any issues had been sorted out with the laptop before the upgrade.
Windows 10 has been out for about 6 months at this point and Microsoft is getting aggressive with updating Windows 7 and 8 users. You should still get a choice on whether or not you want to upgrade but sometimes they are hiding it in amongst other updates you might want.
If you have had issues with a planned Windows 10 upgrade or have been upgraded without knowing it then please contact us today to either revert back to Windows 7 or 8 (you have 30 days after the upgrade to go back) or fix any upgrade issues.
Please call us today to schedule a time to repair your laptop or desktop with Windows 10 upgrade issues.
