The customer reported slow booting sometimes, sluggish programs, random restarts and blue screens, and eventually the laptop wouldn’t start correctly even in Windows safe mode.
The hard drive was failing but had not yet totally failed. This is the time when data may still be able to be retrieved and moved to a new hard drive. Please do not wait until it’s too late to have your computer diagnosed for strange issues. It may be too late to save your data!
We were able to clone this hard drive completely on to a larger hard drive. The user had a 100% copy of all their data and a bigger hard drive!
