This iMac had a failing, slow hard drive and instead of replacing it with a standard hard drive we chose to upgrade to a much faster Solid State Drive (SSD). We cloned over the drive so that the user could pick up exactly where they left off with no need to re-install programs or data.
This boosted the performance so that it was better than when the iMac was new.
